It’s hard to imagine, but the production of canvas prints is, even today, mostly done by hand. That is why the standard of production aimed at is so crucial. We aim to offer our customers the best quality products at a fair price. In addition to the materials used, it is naturally the quality of the workmanship that determines the result. For this reason, we produce your canvas prints exclusively in Germany and avoid the import of cheap materials from the Far East.
| Canvas print technology
We print your photo on canvas exclusively with Hewlett Packard print technology. Unlike normal printing technology, however, significantly more colours are used. During normal printing, products are printed in the four-color printing process (all colours are mixed from blue, yellow, red and black); in canvas printing, however, we can utilise up to 16 basic colours. - This means you get the highest colour brilliance and impressive picture results. An effect that you immediately notice as soon as you open the package. Another advantage: Hewlett Packard guarantees the durability of this colour brilliance for 75 years.
Canvas
Real canvas is a product of real character. Some prefer a coarser canvas texture while others prefer a finer one. Based on the wishes of our customers, we have found the perfect combination – a fine texture whose subtle but marked contours will lend your motif an elegant expressiveness. - The canvases used are all natural products and are subject to constant monitoring by our quality management department. The cotton fabric is processed exactly according to our specifications and even the smallest flaws are detected by optical inspection, to be rejected if necessary. So only 100% perfectly finished canvas is finally used.
The Frame
the wooden frame on which the canvas print is stretched will bear your picture from the first day to the last. To make this possible, special care is needed, because wood is a natural product and no frame part is exactly like another. Therefore, the wooden stretcher bars used have to be hand picked by our experienced staff. Only thus can we ensure that the quality of the material used is always the best.
Where the length of a side exceeds 90 cm, we insert an extra piece to improve stability and durability. For square frames with an edge length of 90 cm and more, we use a wooden cross piece for extra stability. So your canvas print posesses exceptional stability, which guarantees a long product life. |
